From Canna's documentations, these files are used as

  *.cbp - Roman-Kana conversion data
  canna/*.cbd - Binary Kana-Kanji dictionary
  canna/*.ctd - Text Kana-Kanji dictionary
  canna/*.cld - Conversion learning dictionary

The modified files under /var/dict/canna on my box are *.cld
files. Although I don't check the code, it seems valid that only *.cld
files are updated by its definition written above.

Still no idea. But I believe it's no problem to install these two
directories as one package (Canna-dict?).
