+        Martti が技術面で寄与してくれたことは、たくさんありすぎて、ここには書き切れません。
+        彼は pkgsrc で多数のパッケージの作成と保守、
+        NetBSD 附属の各パケットフィルターの更新や、
+        いくつものハードウェアドライバーの改良をしてくれました。
+        そのほかのことでも、彼はいつも助けになってくれ、そして親切でした。
+        たとえば、利用者にプロジェクトへの貢献をすすめることで、
+        その成果をコミュニティーで共有できるようにしてくれました。
+        そのような利用者のなかには、
+        Martti の働きのおかげで、後に NetBSD 開発者になったものもいます。

+        It is with great sadness that we report on the passing of
+        our colleague and fellow NetBSD developer Martti Kuparinen.
+        Martti passed away June 27, 2010 after a traffic accident.

+        Martti's technical contributions are too many to list here in full.
+        He created and maintained numerous packages in pkgsrc, updated both
+        packet filter solutions distributed with NetBSD and improved several
+        hardware drivers. Beyond that he was always helpful and friendly. His
+        example encouraged users to contribute to the project and share their
+        work with the community. Some of these users later became NetBSD
+        developers themselves thanks to Martti's efforts.
